So I finished this one like all the others...FAST!A lot happened in this one, but then at the same time nothing happened...lots of Stephanie running around with her head cut off, can't catch the 'easy FTAs' and all sorts of people breaking into her apartment. Some of the characters that I thought were pretty dumb and lame revisited this one, aka Dougster, who used to be known as The Dealer, and Mooner, a big pot head. Stephanie also hangs out at her parents' house, visiting with her sister that moves back in, and goes to Stiva's Funeral Home every once in awhile with Grandma Mazur.I can feel myself getting wrapped up and worn out with this series, and am starting to wonder if I need a break?I have book eight, and I immediately dove right into it, because the ending to this one was a cliffhanger, but unfortunately Evanovich did not pick up where she left off...Spoilers:I'm sad to see that Stephanie Plum and Joe Morelli can't work things out. Ranger is VERY tempting, but I really hope she ends up with Joe. It was funny to see Grandma Mazur kidnapped. She's always a key character in the messes that Stephanie gets into. What I noticed most about this series is very little character development. She's always living hand to mouth, never saves anything and always thinks and talks down about herself.Yes there are many laugh out loud moments, but really the Stephanie I want to see actually grows some. And by the way, how long do hamsters actually live? Rex, even though I love him, has been around a long, long time...
