Ten Big Ones (Stephanie Plum Series #10)

Ten Big Ones - Janet Evanovich This one really didn't cut it for me.I was able to put it down, and actually read FOUR books in between picking this one back up again! That's saying something!Usually, I read this series lickity-split, but this one just could not hold my interest! Stephanie's up to her old ways and always finds trouble, but this one had no plot to it. This gang is after her, for NO REASON.Then she finds one place were Ranger stays/lives whenever he's in the burg, but it's not the Bat Cave. This whole back and forth between Joe Morelli and Ranger is getting on my nerves. Stephanie walked out on Morelli again for NO REASON and then shacks up with Ranger, but he's not there until the end of the book.Sally is back in the picture and he was a riot the first time we met him, but this time, he fell flat for me. He is appointed the wedding planner for Valerie, Stephanie's sister, and then makes a big appearance at the end, which I was cracking up at. The other point in the book where I was cracking up was where Lula, Connie and Stephanie tried to slap around Anton. I was riproaring with laughter.Other than those two funny parts, which granted could've happened in ANY of Stephanie's books, did not make this book as rich and stand out from the rest of the series.Bottomline: I think this series has had it's roll for me. I won't be picking up the next one any time soon. I'm sick of the lack of character development, and it's the same unlikely, crazy stuff that keeps happening. I can only take so much of Stephanie's lack of self-confidence and decision making skills.
