OMG! This was perhaps the BEST YA novel that I have read ALL year (even including The Outsiders!!!)This book had me guffawing, crying, empathizing, all around from page to page!I read this in one sitting and I am SO glad that I picked up this book! It was absolutely terrific!I cannot remember, nor do I think, I have EVER laughed out loud and CRIED because I was laughing so hard from reading a book.Horrible and tragic things happen to this young boy, but my gosh you cannot help but laugh at the way he describes them and how he handles them with such class (at least for a adolescent teenage boy's sense of class!).Great story! I did NOT want it to end!Quotes I liked:Other than the whole book, which had me in stitches, there were definitely serious parts to the book that made you think of the bigger picture."It doesn't matter what you intended to do. What happens is what you really did. That's almost unforgivable." page 35
Lost Between Pages
I love to read. I tend to read more fiction versus nonfiction. I have a goal to read as many books as I can before the year is up. I like to challenge myself and I also like to discover books that I never would've picked up in the first place. I prefer real books, but lately I have become obsessed with how easy it is to download an ebook on my kindle.
